Today me, s, k and their parents went ot the Mellben Seafood to have the Crab again... Because today i have this urged of having Crab! Yum Yum!!!... Since i was gonna have crab i was so looking forward to eat the eggs from the shield and the BIG pincer!...

We actually ordered 2 types of crabs... The soupy BeeHoon crab and the condense milk deep fried crab! Just happen the 1 dish which is beehoon crab land on the table, all the crab and pincers (both pincers took by S) are gone within seconds... I start grabing on some of K's crab eggs from the shield, and drink of the beehoon soup. Luckly, K give me one portion of the crab to eat...

When the second dish (Condense Deep fried crab) came, this time i tot i would have a bigger chance of getting the pincers. BUT!... S took another of the pincers while she still hasn't finish her 1st 2 pincers. When the only one pathethic pincers left, i think i must as well let the young and old eat... *sad* Partly because i also feel paiseh.

Anyway, that was not the main point... I finally realise what my mum had taught me from young...


Saw this Drumstick above? My mother use to chop half a chicken to share among the whole family (5 of us including dad, mum, sis and bro). I use to be a very greedy child who always wanted the WHOLE piece of the drum stick. However, my mother always refuse to give me the whole pieces. She always scold me and hit my hand when i wanted to snatch the drum stick away. She will scold me by saying:'Pls hor! Pls leave some for others not only u like to eat the drum stick ok!' She will chop the drum stick into smaller pieces. So that my siblings could all taste the smooth and juicy meat.

Well, now that i finally realise y my mother is doing this since young.... Of coz not saying S is being selfish or what... Different family have different culture. Maybe K and S parents really dot and pamper them alot. They could just do wat they wan, and of coz easily get the things they wan also. Unlike me have to work for it, i remember once when i was young. I asked my mum, i wanted to eat downstairs coffee shop the fried rice, she asked me to go and cook magiee mee my ownself. Primary school allowances 50cents/day and $4 for the whole day in secondary schools. With this small amount of allowance, i guess i cant even buy the things i wan... Like gameboy and Tamagotchi, i have to work part time to get them all during my secondary school days. My mum really didnt gave me much when i am small.. i think the only thing she gave me is learning being how to be independant and responsible...
